Day 43 - Thursday
no lessons todae but i still went to sch pretty early to use the net in the lib..which was pretty crowded considering it's the first day of sch...had lunch at the MU before heading to the arc for racket ball n badminton with rachel n nozomi saw this guy with a soccer ball while we were playing badminton n i approached him n we soon started juggling the ball..turned out he's a mexican named raul and he has been coaching boys for some little league in mexico!..whoa..n he played for his high sch before
saw some ppl playing bball...and the girls here are reallyreally fit n sporty..they can match the guys in bball too (and the guys are pretty decent bballers too)
took a dip at the recre pool....and came back to pacifico all sore n aching....haven't exercised this much in a long time....
cooking again for the 3rd nite..n it was the slackest nite..since we had left over spaghetti..we just cooked cabbage.....well the drill is shipei cuts garlic/onion , rach prepares the food..n i do the frying/cooking n washing..which is pretty fun n easy in my opinion..
tmrw is the first day of school...and i'm feeling like a freshman/jc 1 kid/sec1 kid/p1 kid...
i feel apprehensive...dunno wad to expect....i have to find my way to the lecture hall..i have to try to understand wad da hell they are tokin abt..some lecturers don't upload notes...unfamiliar faces...strange accents...no textbooks..
well all along i thought i came for sep to slack...but can i really slack?
this place is a mugger place....todae was the first day of sch for many ppl..but i have free days on thursdays..so i went to the lib to borrow some books...and i saw the studying cubicles almost half filled with ppl..busy highlighting textbooks..making notes....oh man...it's like only the FIRST day..i can't believe it..and the ridiciculous workload for the quarter...an average of 3 tests/exams per module in ten weeks....
i can't wait to see how the chem eng ppl here are...
